Where Pollinator Conservation Takes Root

Protecting pollinators through regenerative land stewardship, habitat conservation, and public education.
At Wings of Eden, we create safe, thriving habitats for pollinators and other winged species that support healthy ecosystems. Guided by regenerative land stewardship, our work protects winged biodiversity while inviting people to better understand, experience, and value the living landscapes and ecological relationships that sustain life.
Pollinators and other winged species are declining at an alarming rate due to habitat loss, chemical exposure, and rapid landscape change. In regions like Nashville, accelerated development has replaced diverse native habitats with impervious surfaces and commercial landscaping dominated by ornamental plants that offer little or no food for native pollinators. The widespread use of insecticides and pesticides further reduces insect populations and weakens food webs, while increasing air pollution disrupts avian health and migration. In urban and suburban environments, reflective glass and poorly designed buildings contribute to millions of bird fatalities each year. Together, these pressures undermine ecosystem stability and threaten the pollination and pest-balance services that healthy landscapes and food systems depend on.
Wings of Eden addresses the decline of pollinators and other winged species through regenerative land stewardship that restores habitat while supporting healthy ecosystems. Using permaculture-based design, we preserve and enhance the land through intentional human intervention—planting diverse, pollinator-friendly species, supporting sustaining practices such as beekeeping, and creating year-round food and shelter for birds, bees, and other winged life. Our approach pairs on-the-ground conservation with education that fosters understanding and appreciation for the vital role winged species play in resilient landscapes and food systems. By refraining from harmful pesticides and insecticides, we maintain a chemical-free sanctuary where wildlife can thrive and ecological balance can be restored and preserved.

Diverse flowering landscapes designed to support bees, butterflies, beetles, and other essential pollinators throughout the seasons.

Perennial plantings, orchards, and native blooms provide consistent nectar, pollen, and forage from early spring through late fall.

Existing forests and hedgerows are intentionally preserved and integrated into the landscape to protect nesting sites and biodiversity.

Habitats designed to sustain birds and other wildlife that rely on healthy pollinator populations and intact ecosystems.

Inspiring sustainable choices that protect pollinators and threatened bird species.
